Maximum-Entropy-Based Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory and Its Application in Emergency Management

Decision-making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) can visualize the structure of complex causal relationships, so it is widely used in decision making. One important steps DEMATEL normalization, has received much attention recent years. Maximum entropy (MaxEnt) a universal principle, an effective tool for determining amount information existed evidence. In this paper, authors propose MaxEnt-based DEMATEL. The greatest contribution paper use MaxEnt principle to determine normalized direct influence matrix, which allows obtain matrix with minimal loss. illustrate emergency management show superiority proposed method.
